Which Enthuse data does Bridgit pull?

Bridgit pulls three reports. Payments covers every transaction across Enthuse, from one-off donations and regular gifts to sponsorship, entry fees and tickets, with the supporter, their consent, Gift Aid, every fee and the payout it settled in on the same row. Entries covers everyone who signs up to your events, with their contact details, activity, team and wave. Fundraisers covers every personal, team and appeal page, with the fundraiser behind it and their consent. The data dictionary below lists every field in plain English.

How do I connect Bridgit to Enthuse?

You connect from inside your Enthuse account. Go to the integrations section, find Bridgit and follow the steps to connect, and Bridgit takes it from there. The connection is read only, so Bridgit can see your data but never change anything in your Enthuse account.

How often does Bridgit sync data from Enthuse?

You choose your schedule when setting up your bridge: daily, weekly or monthly. For example, you could run a daily sync of your event entries in the weeks before race day, so your events team always has an up to date participant list. Enthuse makes new payments available to Bridgit around one to two hours after they are taken, so a gift made this afternoon will be in tomorrow morning’s sync.

Does the data include marketing consent?

Yes, for both donors and fundraisers. Enthuse records whether someone is happy to hear from you at all, then a separate answer for email, post, phone and text, plus the date they last updated their preferences. Bridgit maps those onto your CRM’s own consent fields, so a supporter arrives with their preferences already set rather than as an unknown you have to chase. Event entries themselves do not carry consent, so for participants it comes from their entry payment or their fundraising page.

Can I reconcile Enthuse income against what actually reaches my bank?

Yes. Every payment carries the payout it was settled in, the bank reference for that payout and the date it was paid to you, so your finance team can match every payment to the transfer it arrived in, rather than to the calendar month. You can also filter the report by payout date, so it shows only the payments paid out in the window you choose, such as last month’s transfers. Every fee is itemised too, from card processing and platform fees to the Gift Aid processing fee, each with its VAT, so your finance team can see exactly how the amount given became the amount received.

How are refunds handled?

A refund arrives as its own row, marked as a refund, rather than by changing the original payment. That means your spreadsheet shows both the gift and its refund, and your totals net off correctly. It also means the original payment’s status on its own is not a reliable sign of a refund, which is why Bridgit reads the refund rows instead.

What about participants who fundraise on JustGiving?

They are included. If someone registers for your event through Enthuse but sets up their fundraising page on JustGiving, that page still appears in Fundraisers, marked as hosted on JustGiving and carrying JustGiving’s own page ID.

Can Bridgit bring across my historical Enthuse data?

Yes. Enthuse does not limit how far back you can go, so Bridgit can collect your full history on the first run and then keep it up to date from there. We will confirm exactly what your account holds during setup.

What transformations can Bridgit apply before the data reaches my CRM?

Bridgit supports a wide range of transformations including: reformatting dates, correcting name capitalisation, tidying UK postcodes, translating fund and appeal codes into the ones your CRM uses, stamping a fixed value on every row (e.g. "Enthuse" as the platform), joining fields together, changing case, and rounding numbers. If you have a specific transformation in mind, get in touch. We cover around 90% of common use cases.

Where does the data land? Can I choose between a spreadsheet, cloud storage, or a direct CRM push?

Bridgit supports three output options. The most common is a CRM-ready spreadsheet, which your team can review and upload directly. We also support landing data as a CSV file in S3 or SFTP storage, which suits teams with an existing data pipeline. Direct-to-CRM integration (e.g. Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Dynamics) is also available, though this currently requires a bespoke implementation. How Bridgit's Enthuse connector works

You connect Bridgit from inside your Enthuse account: find Bridgit in the integrations section and follow the steps to connect. Bridgit only ever reads, so it can see your donations, fundraising and events but never change anything in your account. From there, Bridgit pulls your payments, event entries and fundraising pages, tidies everything up and prepares it for your CRM, whether that is Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce or something else.

What that means in practice:

No more manual exports. Bridgit collects your payments, entries and fundraising pages on the schedule you choose, and the cleanup you do by hand today happens on the way through: dates reformatted for your CRM, names title-cased, UK postcodes standardised, fund and appeal codes filled in using rules you set once. What lands is ready to import.

Consent that lands ready to use. Enthuse asks donors and fundraisers about email, post, phone and text separately, and records when they last updated their preferences. Bridgit maps all four onto your CRM's own consent fields, so supporters arrive with their preferences already set rather than as unknowns somebody has to chase.

Income you can match to your bank. Every payment carries the payout it settled in and the date it reached you, with every fee itemised alongside its VAT, so your finance team can match every payment to the transfer it arrived in rather than to the calendar month.

All 118 standard fields arrive in every export, as one row per transaction, plus a column for each question your charity asks at checkout.

One row per person per activity they sign up for, with their contact details, ticket, team, wave and answers to your registration questions. Each event asks its own questions, so those columns differ from one event to the next. When one person books places for a group, each participant gets their own row, linked by the order.
